Specific Sales Responsibilities Customer acknowledgment at counter Initiate workorders and ensure that all necessary information is obtained to ease our repair/service (wheel lock location, symptoms complained of, phone numbers, due times, etc.) Offer “courtesy checks" at counter and get signatures for work/estimate approval. Review workorder inspections for completeness/accuracy Price out needed and recommended repairs/services Communicate with customers regarding repairs/services and obtain and document their approval Keep “waiting" customers informed of progress Follow-up on customers requiring rides and those requesting “calls when done" Process national accounts (get approvals and update delivery receipt and our workorder) Update workorders and ensure agreement to estimates,tech #s,mileage,etc. Communications with Fleet customers to ensure their satisfaction and to develop our relationship through additional services General Sales Responsibilities Inspect vehicles with techs when other personnel are not available Write up needed and recommended items on each workorder Review maintenance intervals from databases (All Data, etc.) and address w/customer as applicable and provide next interval copy for future service Maintain a followup file and contact customers for future service  Know our products (tires/services), warranties, pricing policies, etc. Be aware of competitors ads, programs and products Stay abreast of new products/services in our industry Management Responsibilities Dispatch work to techs and promote efficient workflow Ensure that time commitments are met and customers are kept updated Coordinate workflow with other management/sales personnel Source parts keeping profitability and time in mind--check in stk items Ensure phone is answered professionally and promptly Timely opening and closing of facility Quality control of work through road tests Inventory Responsibilites Assist with parts returns/cores/defects Monitor parts price acquistion among vendors Assist in tire deliveries from suppliers Facility responsiblities Cleanliness of service / office area Cleanliness of shuttle
